o last weekend I went to this awesome party for Instagram Influencers with my bestie Jake Dupree. He had an old Harlequin costume that was beautiful and as his +1 I wanted to make sure I rose to the occasion and dressed my best. So that is what I did!

***Add more accessories I wanted gloves, black or white would be super cute. I wore an old costume jewelry necklace that I have and a jean jacket, because it was below 70 degrees and in LA that is cold 😉
So now that youve ordered the outfit youre almost there. The main aspect of this costume that really makes you stand out is how you apply and design your makeup. I pinned and copied a mixture of a few looks that I found beautiful. I didnt want too gothic or scary and didnt want to do a full white face so how the eyes were designed made the look. Below are some of my inspos.
So, I am by no means a professional makeup artist. My daily makeup routine consists of tinted moisturizer and mascara…but when I have the time and its especially for a costume party or something fun I AM GAME to go full out glam.
A few tips for your makeup look:
I started with my eyes after applying moisturizer. I used the first look quite a bit as my reference, So concealed my eyes and used Pink, Light Purple, Dark Purple, and Yellow eye shadow. Starting with the pink near my eye brow and then working out. After the eyes shadow was applied I started with a black eyeshadow super lightly tracing the black line that went above my eyebrow and all the way down to my cheek and then filled it in with eyeliner. The tops and bottoms of each line I glued a rhinestone and applied whispy lashes at then end. Once my eyes were done I applied foundation, bronzer, blush, and then baked white white poweder around my eyes on my forehead and kept it there for a long time to create the “clown” look. After I applied a light pink lip and was out the door!
Happy Clowning everyone! PS Remember you cant really mess it up. Have fun with it and comment with any questions below
